Satchiura Wind is an interactive kinetic art sculpture and real-time data visualization of wind movements in Satchiura, Japan. The artwork moves through nine transitions, shifting the piece from copper to blue, where it then shows a dynamic visual representation of the current wind direction, speed, and gusts.
When one approaches, the sculpture replaces the visualization with your reflection, making you an integral part of the artwork's narrative.
