"Toronto Wind" is a dynamic kinetic sculpture that embodies the ever-changing wind currents of Toronto. This interactive art installation consists of 209 motorized elements, crafted from gold-tinted mirrored stainless steel and anodized aluminum, known as Brixels. These Brixels gently rotate to mirror the real-time wind patterns and gusts coursing through the city, symbolizing the fluid and unpredictable nature of urban life.

The sculpture offers a unique tactile experience reminiscent of feeling a breeze by extending your hand. As viewers stand on the sidewalk across from the sculpture, they have the opportunity to engage directly with the artwork. By raising a hand above their head, the sculpture will react by rotating the corresponding column of Brixels within the sculpture, enabling them to influence the representation of the wind. This interaction not only alters the sculpture's appearance but also allows the participants to become an integral part of the art piece, reflecting the narrative of the city and its inhabitants.
