Billion Dollar Arcade draws on real-time stock market data to transform iconic arcade games into immersive reflections of the video game industry’s staggering growth. The series currently includes reimagined versions of Pong, Breakout, and Space Invaders, each adjusting in difficulty with shifts in the industry’s valuation—the higher the value, the faster and more challenging the gameplay.

Tracking players’ movements, the games allow viewers to control elements like paddles and shooters by shifting their bodies, forging an interactive connection to the artwork. In the spirit of Pop Art, Billion Dollar Arcade elevates these once-humble games to symbols of cultural significance.
