Enzo Prina American, b. 1997

Enzo Prina is a contemporary artist based in Salt Lake City, Utah, whose lifelong passion for art began with a crayon and a childhood home serving as his first canvas.

Prina's artistic journey is marked by diverse experiences and a relentless curiosity. At age five, he won his first art contest, a formative victory that solidified his commitment to creative expression. His early explorations included oil painting, inspired by a Bob Ross set, and watercolor, which he used to navigate a family move to Southern California and explore the beauty of intentional negative space. This period of his life was significant in shaping his approach to composition and design.

Throughout high school, Prina expanded his creative skill set to include filmmaking and ceramics, finding new outlets for storytelling and sculptural expression. At seventeen, he launched his first Instagram art account where he began experimenting with acrylics and moiré patterns, a technique that would become a signature element of his work.

Following a two-year service mission in Paraguay and Argentina, Prina moved to Utah, where he pursued higher education and entrepreneurship. He ultimately left college to focus on building brands, honing his skills in graphic design, branding, and content creation. His experience in visual storytelling culminated in the launch of a YouTube channel that amassed nearly seven million followers and over four billion views.

In November 2024, the passing of his grandfather served as a powerful catalyst. Inspired by his grandfather's lifelong dedication to his passions, Prina returned to his roots and committed himself to a full-time career as an artist.

Today, Prina is dedicated to creating art that embodies the concepts and visions he has developed over a lifetime. His current work focuses on pushing the boundaries of the moiré style, weaving optical illusions and captivating designs that are a direct result of his expansive artistic background.
