Nicholas Biddle was born and raised in Southern California.

His artwork, inspired by the colors and nature that surround him, reflects his upbringing.

Influenced by the Light & Space movement, Biddle’s sculptures capture the essence of some of California’s most beautiful natural moments: the sun rise and set, the movement of the ocean, mountainous landscapes and what lies beyond the skies.

He predominantly works with polymers, plastics and concretes to create a symmetry between natural shapes, colors and light.

All sculptures and artworks are intended to be meditation devices to instill serenity that can only be found in nature.

In addition to his artistic experimentation, Biddle is commissioned to create artwork for hotels around the world.
The Sheraton Grand in Chicago displays Biddle’s gold and silver gliding based eclipse prints. He was also commissioned to create a front desk, composed of over 2,000 pieces of driftwood, in a newly constructed Nashville hotel. If you visit the Le Peer in West Hollywood, you can view some of his neon work as well as his acrylic box designs.
